When you can’t resist the one person who could destroy you…
Sia O’Donnell can’t help but push the limits. She secretly attends every underground MMA fight featuring The Predator, the undisputed champion. When he stalks his prey in the ring, Sia is mesmerized. He is dominant and dangerous and every instinct tells her to run.
Every beautiful thing Ray “The Predator” touches he knows he’ll eventually destroy. Soft, sweet and innocent, Sia is the light to Ray’s darkness-and completely irresistible. From the moment he lays eyes on her, he knows he’s going to have to put his dark past behind him to win her body and soul.
Disclosure: I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I’ll start with a PSA: make sure you have a glass of ice-cold water by your side when reading Full Contact. This is one scorching hot book!
Ok, let’s move on.
Full Contact takes one uber-tough MMA fighter, adds one independent tattoo artist, mixes in a gym with an opinionated owner, dumps a boatload of testosterone on top, and sneaks in a bit of arson to give us an entertaining story of love and taking chances. Or, taking chances on love. Yeah, that’s more like it…
Sia is strong, smart, and a wicked talented tattoo artist who winds up running a temporary studio next to a gym frequented by MMA fighters, including the object of her fantasies. Who happens to like her too, only his baggage somehow precludes them having a happily-ever-after. Or something like that… What’s a romance novel without a few bumps in the road?
I liked the story, the characters, the setting, and the sexy banter between Sia and Ray. All in all, Full Contact is a fun, hot read. I do have one gripe though, and it’s with the cover model’s tattoos, which don’t match the description of the hero’s tattoos in the book. Yes, I notice things like that… No, it doesn’t detract from the story.
drey’s rating: Excellent!
